Fast Track Teen Driver Education Course

 Courses for ages 15-17  are held Monday - Saturday (16 days of classroom training /2 hours per day). Depending on space availability, students may enroll up until the third day of class but must be present on the third day. No more than 5 absences allowed and all absences must be made up.

32 hours classroom instruction

7 hours in-car driving

7 hours in-car observation ​

On-line scheduling system

 

 

Parent of Student must sign an enrollment contract at the school’s location on or before the first day of class to complete the registration process.

 Great For Busy Teens & Athletes!

 

Ages 15-17 Weekend Only Courses Sat. & Sun. 3-5 pm. No more than 5 absences allowed.

If you are 18 to 24 years old it is now required that you take a 6 hour Adult Driver Education Course. This course will include the Road Rules and Road Signs written tests at our facility. You will not be required to take the written test at the DPS Office.

 

After successful completion of the 6 hour Adult Driver Education Course, you will receive a certificate of completion to present at the DPS Office. We highly recommend that all adults even over the age of 24 take this course because not only do we prepare you well for the Road Rules and Road Signs Exams, you take these exams at our facility in a quiet environment while the information is fresh on your mind. All our classroom instructors are bilingual and students can choose to take their exams in English or Spanish.  Presenting a copy of the 6-Hour Adult Completion Certificate awarded to you at Cazares Driving School may also qualify you for a 10% discount on your auto insurance.​

 

In addition to the Adult Driver Education Certificate of Completion, you will need to present the following to the DPS for processing before taking your Road Test at the DPS Office

Classroom Defensive Driving / Driving Safety Course -McAllen Location

                                   1st & 3rd Saturday of each month

 

If you have received a traffic ticket, your first step is to go to the court as indicated on your ticket. Ask for authorization to dismiss your ticket by taking Defensive Driving.

 

In Texas it is required that a certificate of completion be mailed to your address. After completion of the 6-hour Defensive Driving Course, you will be mailed 2 certificates. One will be marked for the court and the other for your insurance agent. You will therefore not only get your ticket dismissed, but also get a 10% discount on your insurance.You may also take the same course strictly for the insurance discount.

 

 

American Heart Association Heart saver and Healthcare Provider CPR Courses are held on Fridays at 2:30 pm at our McAllen Cazares Driving School location.
